Once upon a time...

There was a time when woodsprites danced and gods made merry
There was a time when rivers whispered of tales aplenty
There was a time when forests laughed..a canopy of festivals
And animals held court on the antics of men

There was a time when Nature danced solely to see you smile
There was a time when the Sun came to borrow some light from you
Shall i remember the times when all Creation paused to see u walk by?
Gasping in wonder....at the soft musical treads of your feet

There was a time when u were my gravity
And my world revolved solely around you
And those great times...when we counted stars together; you in my arms
The times we fought and made up with little kisses
The times we teased each other mercilessly, laughed tirelessly

There was a time when it all ended...

The air is still, my heart is frozen
I can't feel or think...i work by impulse..
In this time....u are not with me

You are gone....like a piece of silk on the East Wind
That fatal day..ur breathe ceased and i became a zombie
It still tears me up....when i look at our pictures
Your smile...only a memory....that ushers beginnings of a dull ache

There was a time......but now its gone

But for all time....i will always love you...
Never forget you....wherever you are
And always.....though they say i cling to the past...
In my mind....we will always be in that time
