Meditations

If walls could talk, would you be safe?
Your secrets healthy or are they dark skeletons?
Your deeds pristine and white as snow
Or clothed in red, another Macbeth?

If minds could be read at a glance
Plain as day, what would we see?
Wavelengths of thoughts like Beethoven's symphonies
Or destructive intents to birth another Hiroshima/Nagasaki?

Deep is the heart of man and wild his thoughts
Let Nature tame, let love conquer
And everyman see another as an extension of himself
A friend, a neighbour, a brother
Always in need and helping indeed
Without rancor and unity shall grow
For we can build a new Eden
